1. The Rocket

The rocket event was huge for the streaming community on twitch, and youtube. Because many knew that something odd was scattered around the map, and they knew something big was happening, but they didn't know what. The event is called “Blast-off Event” and released on June 30th 2018. The event was about a rocket flying up to space, and releasing deadly lasers. The lasers exploded in thin air, which created rift portales. From the portales it came rockets flying all the way to space again, which opened a giant rift portale in the sky!

2. The Cube event

For some reason a cube has created a lot of hype, and popularity for fortnite. The cube started on August 24th, 2018 by the big rift in the sky. The cube simply just falled down from the sky, and landed on a beach in the Fortnite map. The Fortnite cube is dark purple, and moved slightly for every day. At the august the 24th, the cube was finally done moving, but something oddly happened. The cube sank in the sea near a construction site in Fortnite. It was like the cube was melting in the water, and sooner the whole ocean began turning purple. The fun part about the event was that you could bounce really high if you landed on the purple sea. Many Fortnite players mean that the sea is bouncy because if you touched the cube before the event, then you would likely be bounced away.

3. The Ice King

On January 19 2019 at Polar peak in Fortnite. The map was in the winter season, and you could see all the snow from the high mountains even from a long distance. Even though the snow was alot for the Fortnite players, it wasn't enough for the ice king. The ice king looked like an armored knight ghost, with a dark foreshadowing. The ice king came up from the ocean and swayed his arms to release more snow, ice and a lot of wind. So after the event was over the map was full of ice, and no water was yet seen. The map would also give indication of when a big windcast would arrive, and you could even be flown away from the intense wind in Fortnite.

4. Marshmello concert in Fortnite!

There weren't always things, like robots, cubes, or villians in Fortnite. Sometimes the game creators would have done something fun and simple for their players. And with fun and simple I mean loud, and complex. Because the DJ legende Marsmellho was one was invited to play his hit song at one of Fortnite finest DJ tables.

5. The Final Showdown

The Final Showdown was an event something out of this world. It started at Season 9 on July 20th, 2019, and was about a giant robot which was fighting his biggest enemy, the one eyed ice monster. The ice monster crawled it’s way out from the ocean, with a castle on its head. It tried to destroy the whole Fortnite map, but luckily the mech robot helped to beat the monster. Later the monster was fully defeated and only its inner skeleton was the rest of the monster.
